Still

Still

Grief affects all of us differently
Through the passage of time we can see
Ten years have flown by
And we'll never know why
Still for some there will always be grief.
Of course we still cry, our tears fall like rain
While some are still sad, hiding their pain
Some have grown silent and still like a lake
And others gone mad, grief too hard to take.
I didn’t intend for this to poem to rhyme
It’s just that I’ve noticed with the passing of time
Grief lingers with me...still.
Plain and simple-
I miss you Sister-Friend
